Verdict

The most solid option is SO SMART, who has barely put a foot wrong this year and lost little caste in defeat when just touched off at Nottingham last time. Show Me Show Me was a shade below par when third to the selection at Leicester last month but he merits respect nonetheless, while The Defiant has a good chance of reversing recent C&D placings with Miss Nay Never on these revised terms.
