Is proving expensive to follow and was a beaten favourite for the third time in succession when third in novice hurdle at Perth (20.2f) 18 months ago. Returns for his chasing debut with others preferred.

Promising novice hurdler who signed off for last term with stylish win in 2m Wetherby maiden in March. Very much the sort to go on over fences and he's a most interesting chasing debutant.

C&D winner who enjoyed a terrific 2021/22 campaign when a four-time scorer. Looked rusty on his return when sixth of 7 at Carlisle 23 days ago and no surprise to see him take a big step forward here.

Scored at Leicester in February but ended the season with a poor run at Wetherby following month. Back from a wind op now with a bit to prove.

Forecasts

Netywell (9/4), Edmond Dantes (5/2), Wheelbahri (9/2), Fantastic Rock (9/2), Here We Have It (15/2)

Verdict

Lucinda Russell's NETYWELL looks every inch a chaser in the making and is fancied to show his initial handicap mark a lenient one by going in at the first time of asking over fences. C&D winner Wheelbahri is a likeable sort who should strip a lot fitter for his recent Carlisle return so is next on the list ahead of the consistent Edmond Dantes.
