Won a C&D maiden back hurdling in August. Comfortably held on the Flat twice since but possible he'll fare better now.
C&D winner last December but ended his time with Gary Moore out of sorts and it's been the same story for this yard.
Fair 1m winner on the level for Ed Dunlop who won a pair of 2m Plumpton handicap hurdles earlier in the year. Good reappearance second there 18 days ago. Obvious claims.
Won over C&D in June and also went in over 19f here 5 weeks ago. Good course record makes him a must for the shortlist.
Winner over fences in France. Best run for new yard when second over C&D in May and he might have needed the outing when well beaten at Plumpton 18 days ago. Others more obvious, though.
Course winner back in 2019 but struggled in only 3 outings last season. Has something to prove back from 8 months off.
Poor form in bumpers/over hurdles but more chance now handicapping.
Runner-up twice over fences earlier in the year. Rated much higher over hurdles a couple of years ago but hard to be sure whether he still retains that level of ability. First run for 6 months.
Maiden who has looked a tricky ride but he has it in him to be competitive off his mark. First run for 6 months so peak fitness has to be taken on trust.
Twice runner-up in small-field bumpers, but didn't achieve anything over hurdles last season, including in a handicap. Could only consider for new yard if backed.

Forecasts
Beat The Heat (6/4), Tara Iti (11/4), Tommy Dillion (4/1), Sambezi (7/1), Kenny George (9/1), Gorcombe Moonshine (9/1), Shaw's Cross (22/1), Hesbehindyou (28/1), Milldean Felix (40/1), Ray's The One (66/1), Martin Spirit (66/1)
TARA ITI and Beat The Heat are the obvious pair to focus on here, with the vote going the way of the former on the back of an encouraging reappearance second at Plumpton last month. C&D maiden winner Milldean Felix may prove best of the rest.
