In good heart since joining this yard from Ireland, winning over hurdles in July and making a successful start over fences in a match race at Wetherby (21f) 3 weeks ago. More on his plate now but he is open to improvement.

Winless since 2018 but he was runner-up 4 times for John Groucott last season. Market support could prove significant on this first outing for new trainer Sandy Thomson.

Right back to form lately, getting off the mark in emphatic fashion at Market Rasen (19f) last month. 10 lb rise is unlikely to prevent another prominent showing if turning up in similar form.

Came good over this trip at Perth last month. Has a bit mixed record but she still looks feasibly treated off 5 lb higher if she can string 2 decent efforts together.

Poor maiden hurdler/chaser who is 2 lb out of the handicap here and likely to find a few too strong again.

Forecasts

Massini Man (15/8), Mac Suibhne (9/4), Living's Boy An Co (10/3), Shanbally Rose (5/1), Spark Of Madness (7/1), Deerfoot (22/1)

Verdict

A trappy little heat. MAC SUIBHNE won in a small field at Wetherby but he does have the potential to build on that so he gets the nod ahead of easy Market Rasen scorer Living's Boy An Co. Massini Man would also very much enter the reckoning if the betting vibes are strong on his return for a new yard.
