9/4

Scored on Flat this summer and shaped well back over timber at Market Rasen in July. Fell early on at Sedgefield since, though, and percentage call is to look elsewhere.

Privatory¹⁹¹

Age: 4| Weight: 11-10| J: J E Moore| T: G & J Moore| OR: 118| D

8/1

Winner on debut for Gary Moore at Sandown in March. Below that level both subsequent starts but returns on a fair mark and is a likely contender.

Form: 1120-

Coolnaugh Haze¹⁵⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 11-10| J: T J O'Brien| T: P Hobbs & J White| OR: 118| CD

11/4

Won over C&D in January and added to that success at Huntingdon in April. Solid second at Ludlow went last seen in this sphere in May and must enter calculations on return.

Form: 31321-2

Purple King²³⁰

Age: 8| Weight: 11-10| J: Luke Scott⁽⁷⁾| T: Dr R D P Newland| OR: 117| D

16/1

Career best when winning 2m handicap hurdle at Sandown (16f) in March. Wasn't in same form (beaten when fell last) next time but looks fairly treated on his return here and merits consideration.

Form: 4U4/51F-

Amelia's Dance^h²¹⁶

Age: 7| Weight: 11-4| J: Tabitha Worsley⁽³⁾| T: R Walford| OR: 111| D

15/2

Scored 3 times over hurdles last season and returns just 4 lb above her last winning mark. Not ruled out.

Form: 311344-

Hit The Rocks^h¹⁷²

Age: 7| Weight: 10-7| J: Caoilin Quinn⁽⁷⁾| T: G & J Moore| OR: 100| D

7/2

Off the mark at Lingfield in February and ran to a similar level when creditable fourth of 10 in handicap hurdle at Fontwell (17.7f, good to firm) when last seen in May. Looks stable second string based on jockey bookings, however.

Form: 01023-4

Brown Bullet^h¹⁹⁶

Age: 7| Weight: 10-5| J: James Davies| T: A Irvine| OR: 98| CD

12/1

C&D winner last year but been a mixed bag since, finishing last of 4 in handicap hurdle (11/4) at this course in April. Makes limited appeal.

Form: 446234-

Forecasts

Caramelised (9/4), Coolnaugh Haze (11/4), Hit The Rocks (7/2), Amelia's Dance (15/2), Privatory (8/1), Brown Bullet (12/1), Purple King (16/1)

We may not have seen the best of PRIVATORY, who was unable to build on his UK debut success last term but remains unexposed. He gets the nod in a tricky-looking contest. Purple King and Coolnaugh Haze are next best.
