Gordon Richards Novices' Limited Handicap Chase (GBB Race)

Successful on sole outing in points and won first 3 starts under Rules. Good third in Grade 2 at Kelso but went lame in Grade 1 at Aintree final start. Remains with potential (type to do better still as a chaser).

Opened his account over fences when making all in this headgear at Perth in April on final start for Paul Nicholls. Chase experience should count for something here.

Point winner who looks useful, successful in bumper and Newcastle maiden hurdle before good showings in Grade 2s, going okay when brought down at the last at Kelso final start. Open to further improvement ahead of chase bow/return.

Won first 2 starts for this stable. including when readily defying a penalty in novice hurdle at Kelso (2m, heavy). Had his winning run ended in a better race at Ayr final start but should make a chaser.

Point/bumper winner who didn't need to improve to get off the mark over hurdles in a Worcester novice in May. However, disappointed badly after 5 months off there since and now goes chasing.

Won 19.5f Lingfield maiden hurdle on debut and progressive form in defeat in a couple of Grade 2s since, 8¼ lengths fourth in Leamington Novices' Hurdle at Warwick (21f, soft). Couldn't capitalise on the drop in grade at Wetherby final start but has the scope to make a better chaser.

£70,000 point winner. Third in a bumper and created good impression when winning on 2½m hurdle debut here. Resumed progress at the fourth attempt when defying a penalty at Ffos Las final start. Will make a chaser.

Debut bumper scorer for Damian Murphy in Ireland before readily landing 8-runner novice hurdle at Ffos Las (20f, heavy) a year ago. Not extended to defy a penalty in a weak race at Worcester 6 months later and one to note ahead of chase bow.

Fairly useful handicap hurdler but missed all of last season. However, returns on a potentially good mark so market check advised.

Yet to score over fences, but he went very close a couple of times last season, including at Wetherby final start. Cheekpieces on and not dismissed on return.

Took another step forward to open his account in a 21f novice at Ayr in December but failed to improve when switched to handicaps last 2 starts, well held at Ayr final start. Chase debut.
