Miss Jeanne Moon^p⁴¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-10| J: T Scudamore| T: N P Mulholland| OR: 106

9/2

Hurdles winner who has yet to strike in 8 attempts over fences despite often being prominent in the betting. Went in snatches at Newton Abbot last month and may have to settle for further minor honours here.

Form: 522-234

Kazontherazz²⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 11-10| J: S Bowen| T: M Keighley| OR: 106| C

6/4

In fine form last winter, success at Uttoxeter flanked by runner-up efforts at Hereford and Southwell. Recent run at Stratford will have blown away the cobwebs ahead of this chase debut.

Form: 9212-22

The Real Jet²²²

Age: 6| Weight: 10-13| J: N F Houlihan⁽³⁾| T: A Irvine| OR: 95

16/1

Point winner who stepped up on previous Rules efforts when runner-up in a Plumpton novice (20.5f) in January. Cut little ice in handicaps to end the campaign and hopes rest on switch to fences for reappearance.

Form: 1/05285-

Lazy Sunday^t²²⁰

Age: 8| Weight: 10-12| J: M G Nolan| T: R Mitford-Slade| OR: 94

7/2

Didn't always look an easy ride over hurdles last season but dam a half-sister to a very smart chaser so she could easily up her game now chasing.

Form: 478244-

Instant De Bonheur²¹⁸

Age: 4| Weight: 10-7| J: Tom Buckley⁽³⁾| T: N J Hawke| OR: 100

Forecasts

Kazontherazz (6/4), Lazy Sunday (7/2), Walk In Clover (4/1), Miss Jeanne Moon (9/2), The Real Jet (16/1), Instant De Bonheur (18/1), Havana River (25/1)

WALK IN CLOVER is certainly in the right hands pitched straight into a handicap on debut over fences on the back of a wind op and she may well outclass these. Kazontherazz is also considered switched to chasing, with Miss Jeanne Moon respected also given she has plenty of experience over the larger obstacles.
