Jumping issues stalled what looked to be a promising chase career and fit from hurdling, he again made too many mistakes back over the larger obstacles at Ffos Las 18 days ago.

Suited by the switch to front-running tactics when making winning yard debut over hurdles (21.7f) in February. Favourite next 2 starts over fences but unsuited by drop in trip on each occasion and this distance looks more suitable on reappearance.

Modest maiden at best over hurdles/fences and temperament looks to be getting the better of him over the former set of obstacles.

Justified support as he won his first race of any description at Sedgefield in May, a longer trip, fitting of blinkers and the booking of Brian Hughes all in his favour. Shaped better than result at Cartmel later that month and needs considering on reappearance.

No better than mid-field in bumpers/over hurdles but has shown more spark since switched to fences, finishing second at Huntingdon and Uttoxeter in May/June. Unseated rider on recent return to action here but could bounce back.

Won a 2-runner handicap at Newcastle (23.4f) with cheekpieces enlisted for the first time in November but well held completed start to end the season. Headgear left off for reappearance.
