Shaped as if in need of stiffer test when fourth of 6 in novice hurdle at Perth (16.2f, good) when last seen in July. Worth a check in market on chase debut.

Form: 725-534

Maid Of Houxty¹⁹⁵

First Illusion³⁹⁷

T: W Coltherd J: Sam Coltherd

Forecasts

Gandhi Maker (1/1), Tfou (3/1), Thunder In Milan (13/2), Fever Roque (15/2), First Illusion (10/1), Maid Of Houxty (16/1), Toucan Sam (16/1), Oishin (50/1), Lisloran (50/1), So Be It (50/1)

Plenty to take on trust here but TFOU has run with promise on all 3 starts thus far and will have been well prepared for his first crack at this discipline. He gets the nod. Fellow chase debutants Fever Roque and Toucan Sam also make some appeal.
