10/11

Had a bit up his sleeve when taking advantage of a drop in the weights after a couple of months off at Southwell just over 3 weeks ago, quickening clear run-in having been produced to lead 2 out. Runner-up in this last year and expected to be bang there in his follow-up bid.

Fantomas³⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 11-8| J: James Turner⁽⁷⁾| T: N & W Twiston-Davies| OR: 93

10/3

Patchy record over jumps and can be classed as a fortunate winner at Uttoxeter (3m) just over 5 weeks ago as he was held when left clear 3 out. Mark unchanged but still a suspicion he might prove vulnerable.

Form: 844P-P1

Family Pot^p,t¹⁵⁰

2/1

In frame last 3 chase starts but offered little back over hurdles when last seen in May. Course winner around this time last season and lurks on a tempting mark for his return to action.

Forecasts

Gouet Des Bruyeres (10/11), Family Pot (2/1), Between The Waters (3/1), Fantomas (10/3), Zuckerberg (6/1), Top Decision (8/1)

GOUET DES BRUYERES took advantage of a drop in the weights to land a few bets at Southwell last month and, having found only one too strong in this corresponding event last year, he's fancied to follow up and notch career victory number 4. Between The Waters registered a first win in over 3 years on the same card so he may emerge as the main danger, ahead of Family Pot, who lurks on a tempting mark on his return to action.
