Well backed to capitalise on a drop in grade in a Cartmel maiden back in June, always sufficiently in his comfort zone to keep the stayer in second at bay. Back down in distance today for new yard, he looks sure to have a say in proceedings.

Confirmed previous promise with very easy win in 5-runner C&D novice back in April. Proved to be a disappointment carrying a penalty 5 weeks later and returning sporting first-time headgear, he's fancied to get back on track.

Imperial Monarch gelding who was a remote second in an Irish point in last October and failed to see the race out when down the field in a Doncaster bumper back in March. Had wind surgery since but probably best watched on hurdles bow.

Forecasts

Broadway Boy (1/1), Free Handshake (9/4), Chilinlikeavillain (11/2), Let's Have Another (8/1)

Verdict

The Fergal O'Brien juggernaut continues to gather pace and FREE HANDSHAKE gets the verdict to make a winning start for his new yard after signing off with success for Gavin Cromwell in a Cartmel maiden back in June. Let's Have Another looks the obvious danger to the selection, although market support for newcomer Broadway Boy would put a slightly different slant on things.
