Useful chaser in his prime but lost his way for Tom Lacey and showed no real sign of a revival for his new stable in 2 starts back in early-2021. Has since left Alan Phillips and can only be watched returning from 18 months off the track.
On a long losing run and first-time cheekpieces failed to make any impact when a tailed-off fourth at this track (19.4f) 4 months ago. Mark continues to tumble and fancied to make his presence felt in a race that's unlikely to take much winning.
Bagged a third success over fences in 17.2f Market Rasen handicap in August. Fair efforts when filling the runner-up spot on both subsequent starts (upped in trip at Bangor last time) and he looks to have leading claims of regaining the winning thread.
Jumping issues stalled what looked to be a promising chase career and he fared little better back over hurdles when down the field at Newton Abbot (18.5f) just under a fortnight ago. Given a chance by the handicapper if he can avoid errors back over fences.
Without a win but several creditable efforts last season in both spheres. Not so good over timber when last seen at Newton Abbot (16.8f) 6 months ago and having dropped in the weights again since, he's work a second look on return.
Flat winner who showed fair form in juvenile hurdles in Ireland in 2020/21. Continues to disappoint for present stable, though, well held on the Flat over summer and tailed off at Stratford in August. Needs this switch to fences to spark a revival.
Bounced back to score at Stratford in August but underlined his inconsistency with a couple of lacklustre efforts on his next 2 outings. Cheekpieces back on and he's tough to support with much confidence.

Forecasts
Obey The Rules (2/1), Folly Gate (5/2), Court Royale (4/1), Shortcross Storm (15/2), The Garrison (8/1), Sideshift (22/1), Sir Egbert (40/1)
OBEY THE RULES is holding his form well and in a contest that is unlikely to take much winning, Donald McCain's charge is fancied to notch career success number four. Court Royale is proving tough to win with but he's fancied to give the selection most to think about on reappearance, ahead of Folly Gate.
