Red Happy^b,t⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-6| J: T Scudamore| T: D Pipe| OR: 128

5/2

Fairly useful hurdler/chaser who bolted up faced with a good opportunity returning to this sphere at Southwell 9 days ago. Should go well again.

Form: 271351

Big Nasty^p¹⁵⁵

Age: 9| Weight: 11-0| J: Aidan Coleman| T: M Keighley| OR: 120| BF

9/1

Fairly useful chaser who will probably need this rare appearance over hurdles back from 5 months off. Others make more appeal.

Form: 22P42-3

Shearer^p,t1¹⁸⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: Adrian Heskin| T: P F Nicholls| OR: 127

5/4

Improved in first-time cheekpieces when off the mark in a 9-runner handicap (3/1) at Newbury in March and, while he disappointed at Ayr subsequently, he remains with potential with a tongue strap refitted for his return. Big chance.

Form: 0/23215-

Forecasts

Shearer (5/4), Red Happy (5/2), High Stakes (3/1), Big Nasty (9/1)

SHEARER looks the pick at the weights and is fancied to get back on track 6 months on from a disappointing showing at Ayr. High Stakes is an obvious threat and Red Happy can't be discounted bearing in mind he has the benefit of a recent run, scoring easily at Southwell last week.
