Opened account for this yard at Ffos Las in April. More miss than hit since, but didn't get the chance to show what he could do when departing early at Bangor 8 days ago.
Fair maiden hurdler who ran to a similar level sent chasing when third at Newton Abbot back in May, staying on from 3 out having been off the bridle long way out. Remains low mileage and could step forward from that initial effort on return.
Had been struggling for form over hurdles but stopped the slide with a couple of runner-up efforts over C&D in recent weeks, albeit making hard work of things (flattered by proximity to Tom O'Roughley last time). More required.
Winless since landing back-to-back 2m handicaps in early 2019 but most recent effort signalled that another success could be round the corner, runner-up over C&D just over 6 weeks ago. Needs considering from the same mark.
Bumper winner at Ludlow on debut in May 2019, but failed to make any sort of an impact in 5 starts over hurdles (had wind surgery prior to latest). Not seen for 22 months and this should reveal where he's at with attentions turned to chasing.
Standout effort last term when landing 4-runner Fontwell handicap (21.6f) 13 months ago. Respectable third on back of 8 months off at Newton Abbot in June but struggled to match that on all 3 outings since. Tongue tie added to the cheekpieces worn last time.
Beaten a long way in 3 novice hurdles back in the spring and fared no better sent handicapping at Warwick 5 months ago. He's a winning-Irish pointer so this switch to the larger obstacles could well see him in a much better light.
Ran well on chase debut when second of 6 in handicap at Warwick (20f) in May. Backwards steps since though, and was beaten some way out Uttoxeter last month. Questions to answer.
Left below-par efforts behind when opening his account under this jockey from 3 lb out of the weights over C&D last month, leading from 4 out (Corrany flattered by proximity back in second). Task is backing that up today but major claims if arriving in the same mood.

Forecasts
Dan's Chosen (5/2), Tom O'Roughley (11/4), Boagrius (11/2), Corrany (6/1), Abaya Du Mathan (11/1), Cubao (14/1), Spiritus Mundi (14/1), El Rojo Grande (16/1), Moans Cross (25/1)
Cases can be made for a few of these but the most compelling is for BOAGRIUS. Tom George's charge bumped into one who enjoyed a fine summer over C&D just over 6 weeks ago and he should remain competitive off this sort of mark. Tom O'Roughley left previous efforts behind to open his account over C&D recently so he has to be feared, while Dan's Chosen remains low mileage and he's another who may well have more to offer on reappearance.
