Unpredictable overall but confirmed promise of his second over 19.5f here in July when running out a good winner of a C&D handicap 5 weeks ago, produced to lead after 2 out and driven clear. Claims from 7 lb higher if arriving in same groove.
Bumper winner who doubled tally in handicap hurdles at Hereford (25.5f) in March. Seemingly not herself when tailed off at Haydock the following month but returns to action with yard amongst the winners, so certainly no forlorn hope.
Dual winner over hurdles at up to 26f who ended time with Dan Skelton on a below par note at Worcester (23f) in June. Changed hands for £4,500 thereafter but fell early back over fences here (3m) 5 weeks ago. Cheekpieces refitted ahead of hurdles return.
Fairly useful hurdler who confirmed promise of his fourth place finish over shorter here when taking a 23f Worcester handicap 16 days ago, always holding on. Remains unexposed at this trip so not discounted up 6 lb.
Produced just about his best effort to date when second at Worcester (20f) in June, no extra final 100 yds but clear of rest. Not in same form at Perth next time though, and got no further than the first returned to Worcester in July. Up further in trip now. Blinkered.
Landed 3m handicap hurdle from 2 lb higher mark at Perth this time 2 years ago but absent since finishing well held at Kelso (25.7f) later that year. Best watched unless market vibes proved particularly positive.
8-y-o mare who is better known as a fair chaser, posting a career-best when successful again in that sphere at Cheltenham (26f) in April. Betting should guide on return to action/back over hurdles.
Resumed winning ways over fences at Chepstow (19.5f) in April and filled runners-up spot on 2 of next 3 starts, latterly over hurdles at Ffos Las (20f) in June. Not in same form at Newton Abbot in July but not out of things back from a short break.

Forecasts
Blakeney Point (6/5), Ted's Friend (5/2), Go Chique (4/1), Oxwich Bay (14/1), Iron Heart (16/1), Madera Mist (18/1), Chanceanotherfive (50/1), Starsky (66/1)
BLAKENEY POINT is unpredictable as a rule but it was hard not to be impressed with the manner in which he readily saw off an in-form pair under today's rider over C&D 5 weeks ago and, remaining with some handicapping scope, could just be worth chancing to follow up. Worcester-scorer Ted's Friend and Go Chique can emerge as the chief threats.
