Newcomer LADY MARIE ticks plenty of the right boxes on paper and is a viable alternative to Ivory Madonna in this maiden. The latter sets a very good standard, particularly judged on her effort in the Albany at Royal Ascot in June, but she's unlikely to represent much in the way of value and the case for supporting Lady Marie will be enhanced if the market happens to speak in her favour. Balalaika is third choice.
