Thrice-raced maiden. 12/1, eighth of 10 in minor event at Southwell (5f) 27 days ago. Tongue strap applied for handicap debut.
2 wins from 5 runs this year. Career best when winning 8-runner nursery at Chelmsford City (5f, 15/8) 10 days ago, leading under pressure last ½f and responding well. Going the right way now and bold bid is anticipated for the hat-trick.
9/1, creditable fourth of 8 in nursery at Chepstow (6.1f, good to soft) 17 days ago, doing too much too soon. Should give a good account with Kingscote taking over in the plate.
Thrice-raced maiden. 9/1, third of 10 in minor event at Wolverhampton (5.1f) 22 days ago. Market check advised on handicap debut.
Lightly-raced maiden. 10/3 and blinkered for 1st time, failed to improve when sixth of 7 in nursery at Kempton (6f) 40 days ago. Others more persuasive.
Winner at Chepstow in August. Improved further when ¾-length second of 8 to reopposing Lumacho in nursery at Chepstow (5.1f, good to soft, 5/2) 17 days ago. Not taken lightly.
Thrice-raced maiden. Ninth of 11 in minor event at Haydock (6f, firm, 125/1) 23 days ago. Booking of Marquand catches the eye but will need to take a step forward on handicap debut.
Lightly-raced maiden. 16/5, bit below form third of 8 in nursery at Windsor (6f, good to firm) 48 days ago, ridden too aggressively. Others preferred.

Forecasts
Lumacho (15/8), Destiny's Spirit (7/2), Jumra (7/1), Baaraka (8/1), Profitable Dawn (9/1), Carry On Aitch (12/1), Kanawha (12/1), Sassy Redhead (12/1)
A low-key start to proceedings in which LUMACHO is strongly fancied to bring up the hat-trick and remain unbeaten in nurseries. Destiny's Spirit was clear with the selection at Chepstow earlier this month and she may have to settle for silver once again, while a better effort is anticipated from Jumra with Richard Kingscote taking over for the first time so she completes the shortlist.
