Having found some improvement to open his account on his penultimate start, ON EDGE backed that up without being seen to best effect when third over 6f at Chepstow 17 days ago and, given he's less exposed than most, could well be worth siding with returned to this longer trip. Catterick-scorer Sporting Icon, who also has fewer miles on the clock than most, is a live threat though, along with C&D winner Hiromichi.
