Ex-Irish maiden who gave little to shout about in handful of starts over hurdles. Quickly switched to larger obstacles for new yard and not discounted wtih cheekpieces fitted.

Bettered previous chase exploits when landing 23f handicap here last month, well served by the step back up in trip. Player.

Sole win from 59 runs came here but he's an unreliable type and came in a modest eighth back here last month. Hard to warm to.

Forecasts

Red Maple (11/4), Henry Brown (7/2), Oceans Red (9/2), Regaby (11/2), Jet Fighter (13/2), Pardon Me (11/1), Eightytwo Team (14/1), Chase The Wind (22/1), Zen Master (50/1), L'Es Fremantle (150/1)

Verdict

RED MAPLE proved well suited by the step up in trip when scoring here last month and can follow up off a 4 lb higher mark in a race where lots arriive with question marks against them. Henry Brown is feared most on the back of his breakthrough Hexham success, with chasing/yard debutant Jet Fighter and the well-weighted Regaby in the mix too.
