Low-mileage 10-y-o who has returned to form in no uncertain terms the last twice, scoring over 29.4f at Cartmel at the end of May prior to landing a listed handicap at Uttoxeter (3¼m, good) a month later. 10 lb rise for latest success looks manageable.
Improved again when completing the 4-timer with something to spare at Kelso in April. Seemed unsuited by fast ground there later that month and no surprise if he manages to get back on the up this autumn.
Back to form when taking 3m handicap hurdles at Fakenham/Chepstow in February before not disgraced in Pertemps Final at Cheltenham Festival. Makes a belated return to chasing after almost 4 years having failed to convince in this sphere, but well handicapped on hurdles form if it comes together.
Latest win in chase at Fairyhouse in April but shaped as if amiss at Punchestown later that month and ran poorly at Killarney 4 months later. Bit to prove up significantly up in trip.
Hurdles winner and much better form over fences, supplementing his Downpatrick win in a 4-runner handicap here (20f) in July. Just denied hat-trick over same C&D last month and another bold bid looks on the cards back up in trip.
Low-mileage 6-y-o who built on opening hurdles promise when making a winning handicap chase debut at Perth (23.8f) in June, making all and jumping boldly. Not disgraced back over hurdles at Cartmel since but touch disappointing back in this sphere at Bangor.
Useful hurdler at best. Has yet to match that form over fences but shaped quite encouragingly 12 months on from being pulled up lame here when third at Uttoxeter 2 weeks ago, keeping on without being knocked about.

Forecasts
Quantum Realm (9/4), Charlie Uberalles (3/1), Lord Napier (9/2), Ballyandy (13/2), Bavington Bob (13/2), Golden Taipan (8/1), Gevrey (11/1), Jerrysback (20/1)
QUANTUM REALM might have completed the hat-trick had he not made a couple of unsettling errors when a close second here last month and can resume winning ways back up in trip. Jerrysback was well on top at the finish when winning the Summer Cup at Uttoxeter so must be feared off 10 lb higher, while the progressive Bavington Bob is another to consider.
