Verdict

SEQUOIASPIRIT has yet to score over hurdles, but he has hit the crossbar twice in this sphere, including at Cork in July, and has subsequently acquitted himself well in a trio of handicaps on the Flat. The 5-y-o could be the answer here, with Buttons And Bows feared most on the back of a creditable recent effort on the Flat. Toms Courage is also accorded respect and Churchtown Ruby is worth a second look.
