Hit the frame on both starts in points and made a successful debut over hurdles in 12-runner novice at Uttoxeter in June. Couple of disappointing runs since, though, so needs to get back on track now handicapping.
C&D winner but hard to get too excited by any of this season's efforts. Hopes pinned to some extent on a return to the smaller obstacles sparking a revival.
Gone 2 years since his last win but has been placed on the Flat and over hurdles this summer. Likely to have a say for leading trainer/jockey combination.
Maiden hurdler who struck at first attempt over fences at Sedgefield (19f) last November. Lost his way later in the season (chases and hurdles) so a 6-month break needs to have done him some good.
Placed on a couple of occasions over hurdles this summer. Only fifth over fences last time but may fare better back over the smaller obstacles.
Only modest hurdler nowadays but latest fourth of 14 at Cartmel shows she is down to a mark she can be competitive from.
Fair maiden on Flat and over hurdles. First sign of encouragement for current yard when third of 7 at Sedgefield last time, although her jumping wasn't convincing. Needs to build on that now.
Has largely struggled since winning this race 12 months ago but latest Sedgefield fifth was a bit better and he's now down to a mark 9 lb lower than last year. Could stage a repeat.
Exposed as a poor maiden jumper and hasn't been showing enough recently to suggest that a first success is likely to arrive now.

Genever Dragon (3/1), Calliope (7/2), Charle Brune (5/1), Animore (7/1), Strong Team (15/2), That's Your Lottie (8/1), Nastasiya (8/1), Old Jewry (10/1), Balranald (22/1), Haveyougotmymoney (33/1)
STRONG TEAM has dropped to a mark 9 lb lower than when taking this race 12 months ago so he might be worth siding with having run a bit better at Sedgefield last time. Genever Dragon is respected for the McCain/Hughes pairing, while Calliope is still more than capable of making an impact from her reduced mark.
