Improved performer this season, following up his Ascot Stakes win in 2m listed event at Sandown. Remote second of 6 to Quickthorn in Lonsdale Cup at York just over 3 weeks ago. Solid place claims.
Much improved for current yard, winning Copper Horse at Royal Ascot and Old Newton Cup at Haydock, before good fifth of 20 in Ebor at York just over 3 weeks ago when faring best of those held up. Considered up in trip.
Smart staying handicapper who deservedly scored in 2m Newbury handicap in July. Good third in Lonsdale Cup at York last time so he's no forlorn hope for place purposes.
Useful gelding who bounced back to form with victory in Queen Alexandra Stakes at Royal Ascot back in June by length from Reshoun. Possibilities.
Top-class performer who completed 5-timer with superb weight-carrying performance in Northumberland Plate at Newcastle. Ran another fine race when third to Kyprios in Goodwood Cup on ground faster than ideal last time and he looks the one to beat granted softer going here.
Smart mare but she made a discouraging return after 7 months off when only eighth in listed race at Gowran (13.8f) in May. Back from another break now with a bit to prove.

Trueshan (2/9), Coltrane (9/1), Get Shirty (11/1), Stratum (18/1), Lismore (22/1), Reshoun (33/1), Island Brave (33/1), Haizoom (100/1)
TRUESHAN saw his winning run ended when third to Kyprios in the Goodwood Cup but that was still an excellent effort on ground faster than ideal and he looks very hard to beat with ground conditions likely to be more to his benefit this time. Both Coltrane and Get Shirty have enjoyed profitable campaigns and can chase home Alan King's top-class performer in that order.
