Choose Dutemann Handicap

Over 2 years without a win but returned to form from an ever-sliding mark when second over C&D 10 days ago, doing well in theory given the extra ground he covered out wide. One to consider.

Well beaten at Haydock 4 weeks ago but the softening ground is in his favour and he lurks on a good mark. One to consider.

Goes well here, successful in this last year and again in C&D handicap in July. Did a bit too much too soon last week and couldn't be ruled out under Harry Davies.

Had looked on a sharp downward trajectory but bounced back to form allowed his own way in front to land 1m Yarmouth handicap in June. This is tougher 3 months on.

Sole win came on AW but fair runs of late and dangerous to discount after a 2 lb drop in the weights.

Has won two 7f handicaps this season under this rider. Not so good at Newbury last time but could bounce back.

Much improved after gelding operation/fitted with cheekpieces when winning 7f Lingfield 3-y-o maiden and Haydock 3-y-o handicap (good form). Not so good at Ffos Las (6f) last time but still lightly raced and should get back on track over this trip if overcoming high draw.

Without a win since 2020 but has dropped in the weights and hasn't been disgraced on a few occasions this term. Won't mind any more rain and could take a hand.

C&D winner last summer. Back on a favourable mark and he turned in his best effort of the season when second of 5 at Newbury (7f, good) 8 weeks ago. This is tougher.

Won twice on the turf course at Lingfield for Simon Dow in July 2021 but lost his form after. Opposable on first run for 7 months.
