Maninsane¹⁵⁶

Age: 7| Weight: 12-0| J: Lily Pinchin⁽³⁾| T: C E Longsdon| OR: 109| C| D

9/4

Market Rasen maiden hurdle winner last October and would've been placed but for falling at the last at Doncaster in December. Well held on all 3 subsequent starts, though, so has plenty to prove on chase debut now.

Atlantic Storm^t¹⁷

Age: 10| Weight: 11-7| J: Charlie Hammond| T: B R Summers| OR: 102| CD

5/1

Has been in good form over fences, scoring at Southwell in June, while he ran as well as could be expected from 10 lb out of the weights in a Class 2 contest over C&D on penultimate start. Ran one of his lesser races at Worcester last time so must bounce back.

Form: 2-21334

Blaze A Trail^h¹²

Age: 8| Weight: 10-12| J: C Brace| T: J L Flint| OR: 93| C

15/8

Fair winning hurdler/chaser in Ireland and in a hood he bounced back with an easy victory over 19.4f here in July. Made light of a 6 lb rise to follow up back here a month later and a bold bid is anticipated for the hat-trick.

Form: P-P7611

Obey The Rules^p²¹

Age: 7| Weight: 10-12| J: B S Hughes| T: D McCain Jnr| OR: 93| D

3/1

Has taken well to fences, bagging handicaps at around 2m at Hereford and Sedgefield in November. Capitalised on a falling mark to resume winning ways at Market Rasen 3 weeks ago (responded well) and no surprise should he be involved once again.

Form: 3523-51

Forecasts

Blaze A Trail (15/8), Maninsane (9/4), Obey The Rules (3/1), Atlantic Storm (5/1)

BLAZE A TRAIL clearly retains all of the ability he showed in Ireland a couple of summers back and arriving on the back of a couple of course victories, John Flint's charge gets the verdict to bring up the hat-trick. Obey The Rules capitalised on a falling mark to notch his third win over fences 3 weeks ago so he shades the vote for the forecast spot over Atlantic Storm.
