Big improver when racking up a 4-timer on AW in second half of 2021 and shaped encouragingly back on turf after 7 months off when seventh of 13 in a well-contested handicap here (14f) 27 days ago, nearest at the finish. Could still have better to come.
Ran another cracker when beaten only a well-treated one in 9-runner handicap at Kempton (16f, 3/1) 23 days ago. Not taken lightly back on turf with promising 3 lb claimer now taking over in the saddle.
Ended 2021 on a high with emphatic win in 2m class 4 Nottingham handicap and ran creditably after 6 months off when eighth in Chester Cup. Not disgraced over C&D a month later but needs to pull out more if he's to defy his current mark back from a break.
Ended last season on the up but hasn't hit the ground running this term, again below his best at Salisbury last time. Too soon to completely write off, though.
Useful dual bumper winner who was notably strong in the betting and went like the best horse at the weights when runner-up on his handicap debut at Ffos Las (14f, heavy) 24 days ago, edged out final 100 yds. Nudged up 2 lb but capable of better still and of major interest.
Notched a hat-trick in juvenile campaign over hurdles at Cheltenham in April. Readily brushed aside back on the level at Wolverhampton in July but fared much better when sixth of 11 on handicap debut at Haydock (16.2f) 19 days ago, needing stiffer test. Cheekpieces on for the 1st time.

Forecasts
Our Jester (11/10), Mostly Cloudy (7/4), Malakahna (11/2), Land Of Winter (6/1), Star Caliber (7/1), Bascule (8/1), Vino Victrix (17/2), Arabescato (10/1)
OUR JESTER went like the best horse at the weights when runner-up on his handicap debut at Ffos Las 24 days ago and still looks on a very handy mark following a 2 lb rise judged on his bumper exploits, so he's fancied to go one better. Mostly Cloudy has done nothing but progress this season and is a big player back in handicap company having found the Lonsdale Cup a bridge too far last week. Vino Victrix and Bascule are others who warrant respect.
