Finally came good over fences when seeing off 4 rivals at Perth (3m) in June. Ran poorly when remote last of 4 back hurdling at Stratford since but he's more than capable of bouncing back for a yard with a good strike-rate here.

Runner-up on 3 times at Southwell in May/June. Not in quite the same form when fourth (Kauto d'Amour second) at Market Rasen last time, not impressing with his jumping (bad mistake 3 out) and attitude (flashed tail under pressure). Others preferred for win purposes again.

Arrives on a hat-trick after wins at Hexham and Cartmel (2) in June/July. 6 lb rise unlikely to prevent him making a bold bid for the 4-timer if showing up here in similar form.
