At The Races App Market Movers Handicap Chase

Off time: 13:30 | Winning time: 5m 48.80s

Rock The House^p1⁴²

Age: 7| Weight: 12-0| J: Fergus Gregory| T: O Murphy| OR: 100

28/1

Fair hurdler who was in need of experience when sixth in a handicap at Southwell on his first go at chasing. Could build on that in re-fitted headgear.

Form: P159-46

Cardboard Gangster²⁶

Age: 7| Weight: 11-11| J: Kielan Woods| T: D J Jeffreys| OR: 97| D

2/1

Made it two from his last three with a cosy success at Stratford 26 days ago and may do better still for a stable in good order, so he boasts leading claims in this.

Form: 5P-4121

Boagrius^b,t²⁶

Age: 10| Weight: 11-8| J: J J Burke| T: T R George| OR: 94

25/1

Winless since landing back-to-back 2m handicaps in early 2019. Below form so far this season and hard to make a case for.

Form: 533-656

Tara Niece^t²⁸

Age: 9| Weight: 11-7| J: Thomas Bellamy| T: Miss E C Lavelle| OR: 93

5/1

Modest hurdler who has been in reasonable form of late and might do better for a switch to chasing, so not dismissed.

Form: 14/6356

Judge Earle⁵

Age: 10| Weight: 11-6| J: S Bowen| T: P & M Bowen| OR: 92

5/2

Has scored twice this summer and maintained his good form when third at Stratford 5 days ago. Should give another good account if the race doesn't come too soon.

Form: P-51213

Minella Voucher^p,t³⁰

Age: 11| Weight: 11-4| J: Nick Scholfield| T: Alexandra Dunn| OR: 90

10/1

Modest chaser who arrives on the back of some creditable efforts, runner-up at Uttoxeter a month ago, so can't be taken lightly in a thin race.

Form: P54-222

Fortyfive West⁴²

Age: 7| Weight: 10-13| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: Dr R D P Newland| OR: 85

16/1

Poor form under Rules to date and, while he showed some aptitude for chasing at Southwell last time, there's big improvement needed if he's to make an impression in this.

Form: 8060P-4

Oceans Red^p⁶⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 10-13| J: Toby Wynne⁽⁷⁾| T: O Greenall & J Guerriero| OR: 85| BF

11/1

Going the right way over fences prior to an underwhelming display at Cartmel, where he weakened quickly. Given a break since, so may well get back on the up.

Form: 431-618

Eightytwo Team^p¹⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 10-12| J: Benjamin Poste| T: C Ellam| OR: 84

16/1

Modest and inconsistent over hurdles so, while she fared a bit better with headgear applied on her chasing debut at Market Rasen, she's far from certain to build on it.

Form: 9-2F0P3

Forecasts

Cardboard Gangster (2/1), Judge Earle (5/2), Tara Niece (5/1), Minella Voucher (10/1), Oceans Red (11/1), Fortyfive West (16/1), Eightytwo Team (16/1), Boagrius (25/1), Rock The House (28/1)

CARDBOARD GANGSTER doubled his tally over fences at Stratford last time and, with the potential for better still, he makes plenty of appeal for an in-form stable. Minella Voucher and Judge Earle also arrive in good order and they both pose a threat to the selection.
