Port O'clock^b,t²⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 12-2| J: Fergus Gillard⁽³⁾| T: D Pipe| OR: 102

15/2

Made a winning start over fences at Exeter in April and posted solid runner-up efforts next 2 starts. However, run of good form came to halt at Uttoxeter latest and needs to bounce back.

Form: 31-2223

On The Bandwagon³⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 11-9| J: Jonjo O'Neill Jr.| T: J & A O'Neill| OR: 95

12/1

No easy ride and makes limited appeal after running poorly the last twice.

Form: 6PP-265

Judge Earle³⁶

Age: 10| Weight: 11-6| J: S Bowen| T: P & M Bowen| OR: 92

4/1

Scored for second time in last 3 starts when taking 4-runner handicap chase (5/6) at Uttoxeter (24f, good) 36 days ago. Just 3 lb higher now and not taken lightly.

Form: PP-5121

Regaby^p⁶⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 11-2| J: C J Todd| T: Ian Williams| OR: 88

14/1

Did well over fences last season, winning 3 times between August and November. Lightly raced and mostly disappointing since, however, and something to prove now.

Form: 2118-3P

Call Of The Loon¹³⁹

Age: 11| Weight: 11-1| J: Jack Tudor| T: Christian Williams| OR: 87

22/1

Just 1 win from 26 NH runs in Ireland and not seen since March. Market may provide best guide to claims on return/yard debut.

Form: 456657-

On Time^t²¹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: Conor Ring⁽³⁾| T: Evan Williams| OR: 86

16/5

Off the mark when easily winning mares' handicap chase at Newton Abbot (25.8f) last month and posted creditable third at this course (22.6f) since. Return to longer trip no issue and should be in the mix.

Form: 875-413

Mr Woody^b³⁵

Age: 8| Weight: 10-13| J: Charlie Hammond| T: Dr R D P Newland| OR: 85| BF

13/2

Joined excellent yard and made second start a winning one over fences at Ffos Las (23.8f) in June. Somewhat disappointing back over hurdles at Worcester since but merits consideration back over larger obstacles here.

Form: 7/27-515

Master Sunrise^b²⁵

Age: 13| Weight: 10-8| J: J J Burke| T: A Ralph| OR: 80

7/1

Temperamental sort who was returning from 10 months off when creditable fourth of 11 in handicap chase at Uttoxeter (24f, good to soft) 25 days ago. Remains to be seen if he can build on that, though.

Form: 23-4264

Tom O'Roughley^b,t²⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 10-2| J: Sean Houlihan| T: Sheila Lewis| OR: 74

6/1

Made the frame several times this term but may not be capable of defying even his basement mark in a race that looks fairly competitive for the grade here.

Form: 6-44446

Non-Runners

Flying Verse²¹

Weight: 12-2| Age: 10

T: David Dennis J: B S Hughes

Forecasts

On Time (16/5), Judge Earle (4/1), Flying Verse (5/1), Tom O'Roughley (6/1), Mr Woody (13/2), Master Sunrise (7/1), Port O'clock (15/2), On The Bandwagon (12/1), Regaby (14/1), Call Of The Loon (22/1)

This can go to FLYING VERSE, who ran his best race for some time when runner-up here last month and remains fairly treated. Judge Earle and On Time rate the principal dangers.
