Impressive when registering a facile handicap victory on return at this course (16f) and backed it up with a creditable second at Warwick. Disappointing last time but this is easier and he's tongue tied.

Useful hurdler who has gone the wrong way from his reappearance this term but is well treated if he can bounce back.

On a reasonable mark and shaped nicely when second (despite a less-than-ideal position) in a 4-runner event at Newton Abbot last month. Should play a part.

Fairly useful maiden on Flat who improved to open his account in a Hereford juvenile (16.2f) in January. Creditable effort on handicap debut at Newton Abbot in June but latest effort on the level was sub-par.

Off the mark in this sphere when taking 8-runner handicap hurdle over C&D in May. Not disgraced here subsequently so worth considering despite a lesser run on the Flat recently.

Hasn't really fired since scoring at Exeter in April but is back down to the same mark and arrives on the back of a short break, so dangerous to dismiss.

Usually consistent, so he can be expected to be back on his game after a lesser effort at Newton Abbot last month. He hasn't won for over a year, though.

Forecasts

Limelighter (16/5), Hayedo (7/2), Thahab Ifraj (5/1), Percy's Word (5/1), Technological (15/2), Manor Park (8/1), Some Day Soon (8/1)

Verdict

This is a weak race and a chance is taken on MANOR PARK, who is the only one to arrives on the back of a solid showing. Percy's Word could outclass them down in grade, so he's worthy of consideration, while Limelighter is no forlorn hope.
