9/2

Returning from 4 months off when creditable fourth of 12 in handicap hurdle (9/1) at Cartmel (17.2f, good to soft) 28 days ago. Entitled to build on that but is still looking for her first success.

Form: 34348-4

Blue Collar Glory^t⁴⁷

20/1

Bumper winner who showed improved form to open account over hurdles in a mares' maiden at Sedgefield (19.8f) in May. Below that level sent chasing since, however, and others look better treated.

Form: 47D-163

Simply Red^p³⁰

Age: 4| Weight: 10-13| J: B S Hughes| T: D McCain Jnr| OR: 94| BF| C

9/4

Positive start for Donald McCain, winning here in May (16.7f) and runner-up 3 times since, going close at Cartmel (17.2f, good) 30 days ago. Raised 2 lb but should give another good account.

Form: 4-71222

Raven's Raft⁴²

Age: 7| Weight: 10-3| J: Lee Edwards| T: Dave Roberts| OR: 80

50/1

Modest Flat winner who hasn't cut much ice as a hurdler to date and offered little on return from lengthy absence at Worcester last month. Tries longer trip now.

Form: 98347/8

Getaway Glenda^p²⁹

Age: 7| Weight: 10-2| J: Sean Quinlan| T: J Candlish| OR: 77

8/1

Respectable third of 6 in handicap hurdle at Stratford (18.7f) latest but more needed to take a hand in finish here. 2 lb out of the weights.

Form: P7-0783

Sevenofus^t²⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 10-2| J: T Scudamore| T: N P Mulholland| OR: 76| BF

5/2

Successful between the flags in October and the application of a tongue tie has brought about improvement in this sphere, latest when third of 8 in handicap hurdle at Worcester (20f, good to soft, 9/4) 25 days ago. 3 lb out of the weights but merits consideration.

Form: 98072-3

Non-Runners

Malina Ocarina²⁹

Weight: 11-2| Age: 7

T: G Hanmer J: S Bowen

Forecasts

Simply Red (9/4), Sevenofus (5/2), Malina Ocarina (7/2), Dicey Rielly (9/2), Leading Theatre (5/1), Getaway Glenda (8/1), Blue Collar Glory (20/1), Raven's Raft (50/1)

Preference is for SEVENOFUS, who remains relatively low mileage over timber and shaped well on her return from a break at Worcester last month. Malina Ocarina and Leading Theatre are feared most.
