Made it six wins from seven starts in 13-runner handicap hurdle at Cartmel (25.4f) in May, landing the race for the second time. Another excellent effort when second at Uttoxeter and he's clearly thriving.

Dual-handicap chase winner in 2020/21 and signed off time with Paul Nicholls with a ready success at Newton Abbot in May. Last completed start for this yard so has a lot to prove at present.

Found plenty for pressure when landing Summer Plate for the second year at Market Rasen last month. Lower hurdles mark is justified but he has to be of very serious interest.

Back on track when opening chase account at Market Rasen (21.4f) in September 2020. Restricted to just 3 runs since, but right back on his game when a narrow second at Perth. Off11 months and now hurdling but is best caught fresh.

Cashed in on a falling mark to land 3-runner Fontwell handicap (25.7f) in May. Weakened out of it at Market Rasen a month ago so must cast that effort aside.

Has done well for this yard, notching up a fourth success in mares' handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter 3 weeks ago, readily. Up 5 lb in a deeper race but she warrants respect.

Forecasts

Latino Fling (9/4), Wbee (5/2), Francky Du Berlais (11/4), Jersey Wonder (11/2), Dead Right (14/1), Eritage (50/1)

Verdict

FRANCKY DU BERLAIS isn't as a good a hurdler as chaser, but his mark reflects that and he arrives at he top of his game having bagged another valuable handicap at Market Rasen. Fresh is the time to catch Dead Right so he's feared, with Wbee and Latino Fling also thriving.

  1. Francky Du Berlais11/4
  2. Dead Right14/1
  3. Wbee5/2
