And The New^t¹⁷

Age: 11| Weight: 11-9| J: B S Hughes| T: L Morgan| OR: 129| BF| D

5/1

Useful 2m4f winning hurdler for Johnny Farrelly. Placed all 3 starts over fences for this yard, second of 4 over C&D 17 days ago.

Form: 43U-332

Quantum Realm³⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 11-6| J: S Bowen| T: G Elliott| OR: 126| CD

13/8

Hurdles winner and much better form over fences, supplementing his Downpatrick win in a 4-runner C&D handicap at Perth last month. 5 lb rise won't prevent another bold bid.

Form: 772-011

Statuario²⁸

Age: 7| Weight: 11-1| J: James Bowen| T: P & M Bowen| OR: 121

3/1

Very hard to win with, placed for the fourth time this season when third in the Summer Plate at Market Rasen last month. Same mark here.

Form: 8P-2223

Saint Arvans^t⁴⁴

Age: 8| Weight: 10-13| J: Sean Quinlan| T: M A Barnes| OR: 119| D

7/1

Hurdles winner who has made a bright start over fences, landing 4-runner novices' handicap at Cartmel (17.3f) in May and followed up with minimum fuss in a Hexham novice. Just a fair third over C&D in June but limit may not have been reached.

Form: 29-3113

Forecasts

Quantum Realm (13/8), Statuario (3/1), Mortlach (9/2), And The New (5/1), Saint Arvans (7/1)

A case of sorts can be made for all 5, with QUANTUM REALM just about the most persuasive option in his quest for a hat-trick. Statuario finished third in a deeper handicap than this last time and is feared most.
