C&D winner who notched a second win of the season when swooping late in a race run to suit at Leicester (8,2f) in June. Hasn't quite scaled same heights since but a good gallop to aim at here will suit.
Enhanced excellent Hamilton record (now 4-6) in July and had plenty in hand when following up at Ripon (1m) on Monday, drawing clear final 1f. Goes unpenalized for that and he should prove a tough nut to crack.
3-time winner in France who arrives having gone close on 2 of last 3 starts for present yard, good second of 6 in handicap at Nottingham (10.2f, good) 27 days ago, no extra late on. Ease back in trip a plus on balance and sound each-way claims.
3-y-o who landed back-to-back 1m nurseries last autumn. Yet to find her form this campaign though, seventh of 8 in handicap at Nottingham (8.3f, good) 14 days ago. Still, her mark continues to slide if blinkers have desired effect now.
Twenty runs since last win in 2020. 16/1, twelfth of 15 in handicap at Thirsk (7f, good to firm) 43 days ago, making no impression when clipping heels/stumbling 1f out. Eased further in weights since.
Lightly-raced maiden. First run since leaving Alan Berry when seventh of 10 in handicap (33/1) at Carlisle (7.8f, good) 10 days ago, weakening final 1f. That was his first start for 9 months and this ought to reveal more.
Belatedly off the mark at Chelmsford (10f) in December but below that level next 2 starts on AW for Ivan Furtado and never figured on back of 6 months off for new yard at Newcastle 3 weeks ago.
Maiden who dispelled a lesser effort in blinkers at Leicester when finishing creditable fifth of 10 in handicap at Carlisle (7.8f, good) 10 days ago. Another holding each-way claims from his lowly mark.

Forecasts
Temper Trap (5/6), Dr Rio (11/2), Strangerontheshore (6/1), Moon Over The Sea (13/2), Rum Runner (11/1), Sweet Madness (18/1), Barrister Blaster (20/1), Captain St Lucifer (40/1)
A winner at Hamilton on his penultimate start, TEMPER TRAP had little trouble following up at Ripon on Monday, clearing away for a 6-length success. Unpenalized for that, he should prove tough to beat in his pursuit of the hat-trick. Dr Rio and Strangerontheshore may be the pair to give him most to do.
