Lightly-raced maiden who ran best race yet returned to 5f when second of 9 in nursery at Musselburgh 13 days ago, nicely on top of remainder. Rider's claim off-sets rise in weights and definite possibilities with a repeat.
Thrice-raced maiden. Eighth of 11 in minor event at Catterick (6f, good to firm, 11/1) 22 days ago, weakening final 1f having showed speed. Will hold more chance now handicapping and drop back to the minimum trip a likely plus.
Hinted at ability on first of 3 starts in maiden/novice events for Karl Burke earlier this term, Has switched yards/been gelded ahead of this, so interesting to see where he figures in the market now attentions are switched to handicaps.
Makes appeal on paper and she showed more than on first 2 starts when seventh of 14 in minor event (100/1) at Redcar (6f, good to firm) 15 days ago, left behind final 1f. May do better now switched to handicaps.
Lightly-raced maiden. Eighth of 9 in nursery at Musselburgh (5f, good to firm, 16/1) 13 days ago, slowly away and always behind. Hood reached for now.
Mehmas filly who has offered more switched to nurseries, doing her best work at the finish when third of 7 at Southwell (5f) 3 weeks ago. This stiffer finish should help on that evidence and she's one to consider.
Thrice-raced maiden. 28/1, last of 4 in claimer at Catterick (5f, good) 36 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time. Makes handicap debut.
Little to shout about in trio of maiden/novice events and whilst he begins life in handicaps from a basement mark, he needs to step up significantly to feature. Hood goes on.

GEMCUTTER got firmly back on track when runner-up in a Musselburgh nursery (5f) 2 weeks ago and a repeat should see her firmly in the mix again. Majil, who ran well at Southwell last time, is next best. Habana Flyer is also worth a second look from a handy draw.
