3-time C&D winner who confirmed promise of her Pontefract return effort when landing 21-runner York handicap (6f) in June. Creditable fourth in another big field event at that venue since and expected to give another good account from this mark.
C&D winner who arrives on a long losing run and he's been operating below his best in recent months, thirteenth of 15 in handicap at Goodwood (5f, good to firm) on back of 3 months off 16 days ago. Eases back down in class now but widest draw of all to overcome here.
5-y-o who arrives here in fine form, making it 3 wins from last 4 starts at Hamilton (5f) 33 days ago, leading over 1f out and keeping on. This rates tougher but he's certainly not discounted from revised mark in this groove.
In good form on AW over the winter, successful at Newcastle (5f) in November. Best effort back on turf when 2¼ lengths seventh of 12 to Latin Five in a C&D handicap 16 days ago and his mark has eased a little more.
C&D winner who regained winning thread at Nottingham (5f) in June. Gave it another good go from the front when runner-up at Pontefract 8 days ago and expected to figure again from a handy draw in stall 3.
Been rather all or nothing this term but put best foot forward having been dropped in from a wide draw to add to his tally in 12-runner C&D handicap 16 days ago, by a neck from High Security. Only 2 lb higher now but task is to back that up.
Long time since he last got his head in front but mark reflects that and his latest fifth in 20-runner York handicap (5f) 3 weeks ago was a good effort. Each-way possibilities from a handy draw.
Proving largely consistent this term and he resumed winning ways when awarded race in stewards' room at Ripon (5f) in May having been carried right late on. Continued good work since, neck second of 12 to Latin Five over C&D 16 days ago. Possibilities.
Mark has come down plenty but winless for present stable last season and operating well below best in a couple of AW starts earlier in the year. Break needs to have perked him up ahead of this return to turf. Cheekpieces refitted.
Had everything fall right when landing this race 12 months ago, well served by coming off a strong pace. Largely consistent in defeat thereafter and he arrives having run well when runner-up at Newcastle 8 days ago. Will need the breaks but he's on a good mark.
Added to his tally on AW at Newcastle (5f) in November and ran with credit to hit the frame on 2 of last 3 starts on turf, including over C&D. However, below best at Carlisle (5f) 10 days ago and this looks deep again.
