Foaled January 25. €50,000 yearling, Zoustar colt. Half-brother to 2-y-o 9f winner Fabada. Once-raced stablemate Fox Island is presumably the Hannon first-string, but market check advised all the same.

Twice-raced colt. Third of 10 in maiden at Newcastle (7.1f, 3/1) 17 days ago. Remains open to improvement and should make his presence felt.

Forecasts

Alaskan Point (3/1), The Goat (4/1), Fox Island (4/1), Struth (13/2), Going To The Moon (8/1), Moltisanti (10/1), Roll It In Glitter (11/1), Red Fort (16/1)

Verdict

Those with experience have all shown ability, but newcomers STRUTH and The Goat both make plenty of appeal on paper and it'll be interesting to see which way they go in the betting. Preference as things stand is for Struth, with the Johnston yard's 2-y-os going well. Red Fort is another interesting debutant, but his stablemate Fox Island, who shaped well on debut at Leicester, is third choice.

  1. Struth13/2
