Has largely struggled since his second at Wolverhampton in February, never dangerous when well beaten fifth of 6 over this trip at Haydock (10f) last month. Fitting of a visor needs to have positive effect

Maiden who ran right up to best when runner-up in handicaps at Carlisle/Nottingham in June. Raced a shade keen off a steady gallop when sixth of 9 at Ayr (10f) 4 weeks ago and he's certainly not one to write off.

Fair maiden who ran best race to date when second over 1m at Redcar in April. Has yet to build on that since though, failing to improve for the step up to 1¼m when seventh of 8 at Beverley 8 days ago. Cheekpieces reached for now.

Has just one win to her name but filled the runner-up spot for third start this season at Beverley (1¼m) 8 days ago, sticking to her task from off the pace. Possibilities if replicating that here.

Ended losing run stretching back over 3 years at Wolverhampton (9.5f) in January and made the frame on 3 of next 4 starts at that venue. Below par thereafter on turf/AW and he ran to a modest level when fourth over hurdles at Cartmel since.

Sole success from 24 starts came at Beverley (1¼m) 12 months ago and he's showed only a glimmer of promise so far this campaign and others arrive with more pressing claims.

Forecasts

Tele Red (6/4), Dandy's Angel (15/8), Headingley (5/1), Quoteline Direct (11/1), Le Bayou (16/1), Prince Achille (25/1)

Verdict

TELE RED was arguably a shade keen when below his best at Ayr recently but he had previously gone close when runner-up in handicaps at Carlisle/Nottingham and could be worth chancing to shed the maiden tag. Dandy's Angel ran well to finish runner-up at Beverley latest and is feared most ahead of 3-y-o Prince Achille.
