Showed little first 2 starts but massive improvement when making all in a good time at Chester 18 days ago, looking all speed and clearly relishing the drop to 5f. Plenty more needed again at this level, though.
Debut Southwell scorer who took his form up a notch when third in Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot and listed event at Sandown, behind Rocket Rodney both times. Able to boss inferior rivals in Super Sprint at Newbury 11 days ago but it was still another improved effort. Player.
Confirmed debut promise when readily landing 5-runner novice at Nottingham in May but disappointed at York subsequently. Back on track when 3¼ lengths fourth of 20 to Eddie's Boy in Super Sprint at Newbury (5.2f, good to firm) 11 days ago but has it all to do here.
Improving gelding who readily landed C&D novice before posting excellent close second of 24 to Little Big Bear in Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot. Resumed winning ways in listed race at Sandown 26 days ago and is the form pick.
Has improved with each run, markedly so when making all in 6-runner maiden (2/9) at Navan (5f, good to firm) 18 days ago, suited by the emphasis on speed. More needed again but yard won this 2 years ago and warrants respect.
Dandy Man colt. Much improved from debut (well backed, proved far too green) when winning 5f York novice with a bit in hand. However, limitations rather exposed in the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot next time.
525,000 gns Breeze Up purchase, by Kodiac. Promising start in hot Ascot novice before taking a big step forward to easily win 5f 4-runner York event, storming clear. Ran a cracker when runner-up in the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot 6 weeks ago and probably has more to offer still.
Confirmed debut promise here (6f) when easy winner of Newbury maiden (6f)12 days ago. Remains with potential but probably up against it dropping back to 5f in this company.

Forecasts
Rocket Rodney (1/1), Walbank (4/1), Eddie's Boy (11/2), Trillium (7/1), Studio City (10/1), Thunder Moor (40/1), Looking For Lynda (50/1), Dickieburd (66/1)
ROCKET RODNEY was only just denied in what has proved to be a strong renewal of the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot and he confirmed that level of form when comfortably resuming winning ways in a listed event at Sandown. He looks just about the pick on form and, having won his novice by a wide-margin over this C&D, has plenty going for him. Norfolk runner-up Walbank is the obvious threat with this easier 5f likely to suit, while Super Sprint winner Eddie's Boy should be on the premises, too.
