Verdict

PUB CRAWL benefited from the step up to this trip when second at Newmarket recently and he could be the answer, in receipt of upwards of 10 lb from each of his four rivals. Special Envoy is bound to be a warm order now pitched into a handicap, given his connections and pedigree, but he's probably not one to lump on at short odds having looked somewhat ill at ease on fast ground, which is forecast here, at Newbury last time. Bad Company will be a threat if allowed his own way in front.
