Second C&D win of year when coming from last to first to see off 7 rivals a fortnight ago. 3 lb rise is unlikely to prevent him going close if things drop right again.

Forecasts

Monsieur Kodi (11/4), Dick Datchery (7/2), Classy Al (4/1), Kilconquhar (15/2), Rory (8/1), Min Till (10/1), Cotai Class (11/1), Caleta Sunrise (12/1), Nodsasgoodasawink (28/1), Burtonlodge Beauty (33/1), Hollis Brown (100/1), Next Second (100/1)

Verdict

KILCONQUHAR shaped quite well at Hamilton last time and could be the way to go. Classy Al will be a threat if in anything like the same form as when scoring over C&D a fortnight ago, although consistency hasn't proved his strong suit so far. Monsieur Kodi is another with good recent C&D form to his name, while handicap newcomer Min Till is one to keep an eye on in the betting.
