Forecasts

The Grey Lad (5/2), Pat Coyne (3/1), Navigator Jack (4/1), Vale Of Glory (13/2), Punters Poet (14/1), Crosshouse Boy (14/1), My Manekineko (14/1), Gold Creek (16/1), Siberian Star (16/1), Blackjack Boy (25/1)

Verdict

Given that he was badly hampered at the fourth-last, PAT COYNE did well to finish as close as he did when runner-up in a Downpatrick handicap chase last time and he is appealing off a 5 lb lower mark back in this sphere. The veteran My Manekineko probably would've won but for a last-flight mistake on his latest hurdles start at Clonmel and he is likely to be in the mix, along with Vale of Glory and decisive Down Royal winner The Grey Lad.

  1. PAT COYNE (IRE)
  2. MY MANEKINEKO
  3. VALE OF GLORY (IRE)
