66/1

Twice-raced maiden. Tenth of 11 in minor event at Wetherby (7f, good, 125/1) 36 days ago. It's hard to envisage him troubling Fast And Loose and Grantley Hall.

Fast And Loose^p1²⁸

Age: 3| Weight: 9-7| J: K Stott| T: K A Ryan| OR: 75| BF

11/8

Fairly useful gelding. 15/8, respectable second of 8 in maiden at Ripon (6f, good to firm) 28 days ago. The addition of cheekpieces may help, but he can hardly be labelled progressive and is up against a promising and unexposed filly in Grantley Hall.

Form: 3-32902

(3)

Grantley Hall²⁵

Age: 3| Weight: 9-7| J: Joanna Mason| T: M & D Easterby| D

4/7

Promising individual. Won 9-runner minor event (3/1) at Redcar (6f, good to firm) 25 days ago, plenty in hand. Likely to go on improving and she can follow up here before going on to better things.

Form: 41

Forecasts

Grantley Hall (4/7), Fast And Loose (11/8), Dream Deal (66/1)

This is all about GRANTLEY HALL, who duly left her debut form well behind when scoring in good style at Redcar and she could be a useful sprinter in the making. Fast And Loose's progress has stalled and he looks vulnerable to less exposed types, such as Grantley Hall, while Dream Deal has barely beaten a rival home in minor events at Thirsk and Wetherby.
