Underwent a wind op/gelded following 2-y-o campaign and has improved this season, narrow winner of a C&D handicap last time with Lethal Nymph held in third. 5 lb rise fair enough and it's likely that he has more to offer.
Too keen when fourth at Newbury on penultimate start and successful either side of that, producing his best effort yet when getting on top close home at Newmarket (7f, good) recently. Nudged up just 2 lb and claims with William Buick booked.
Winner of his first two starts before failing to land the odds on handicap debut at Haydock. Didn't do much wrong when 1¾ lengths third to Golden Voice over C&D last time, but it's doubtful that a 5 lb pull will enable him to reverse those placings.
Made it third time lucky when landing an 11-runner Salisbury novice (7f, good to firm), but that form doesn't amount to much and a significant step forward is needed now that pitched into a handicap.
Did the job well when opening his account at the seventh attempt at Goodwood (7f, good to firm). Failed to back that up over this C&D a week later, though, and looks vulnerable now that new mark has kicked in.
Displayed a fair level of ability when placed in a couple of 7f novice events last season, but progress has not been forthcoming in a couple of handicaps since returning to action in May.
Successful twice already this season and almost added to his tally at Pontefract on penultimate start. Below par tried in a hood at Hamilton (8.3f, good) last time, but headgear swiftly dispensed with and couldn't completely rule out back at 7f.

Forecasts
Golden Voice (6/4), Galiac (11/4), Lethal Nymph (5/1), Cabinet Of Clowns (8/1), Hodler (12/1), Brilliant Blue (16/1), Autumn Festival (20/1)
With just five runs under his belt, GOLDEN VOICE's best days are presumably still ahead of him and a 5 lb rise for his latest C&D success looks manageable. The main threat is likely to be posed by Galiac, who raised his game when leading close home at Newmarket and will get plenty of assistance from the saddle. Autumn Festival was below par last time, but he'll be dangerous if allowed too much rope back down in trip here and is third choice ahead of Lethal Nymph.
