Ballymilan^p²⁶

Age: 7| Weight: 12-0| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: N P Mulholland| OR: 105| CD

9/1

Successful debut over fences in 23f Worcester handicap and maintained her unbeaten start over fences at Huntingdon, well on top finish. Should make bold bid for hat-trick.

Form: 5160-11

Game Line^b¹⁴

Age: 8| Weight: 12-0| J: James Bowen| T: P & M Bowen| OR: 105

5/1

Operating below best at present but he's dropped below his last winning mark and, given this yard's current rich vein of form, it wouldn't be a surprise to see him bounce back sooner rather than later.

Form: 3PP4-65

Heydour^p²¹

Age: 9| Weight: 12-0| J: J E Moore| T: C Gordon| OR: 105

25/1

Fairly useful chaser but struggled all 3 starts for John J. Costello. Fit from points and seemed to run to a fair level on his debut for new connections 3 weeks ago, albeit in a race which hardly screams solid form.

Form: P323-32

Known^t1⁹⁸

Age: 8| Weight: 11-13| J: Jonjo O'Neill Jr.| T: J & A O'Neill| OR: 104| BF

14/1

Frequent eye-catcher over hurdles for Nicky Henderson (sold out of that yard £25,000 last January), but now has a bit to prove after running poorly all 3 starts last season. Tongue strap on.

Form: 332/P07-

Jersey²⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 11-13| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton| OR: 104

15/2

Best effort over hurdles when second of 7 in handicap hurdle at Huntingdon (20.7f, good) 26 days ago. Makes chase debut. Up in trip. Bred to make a chaser so one to note for powerful yard.

Form: 7/469F-2

Etat Major Aulmes³¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-12| J: G Sheehan| T: O Signy| OR: 103

6/1

Defied a 12-month absence to get off the mark over fences 5-runner handicap chase at Fontwell (21.6f, good) 31 days ago. Remains unexposed in this sphere and shortlist material.

Form: 47P2/2-1

The Big Sting^p1,t⁵²

Age: 7| Weight: 10-13| J: J J Burke| T: H Fry| OR: 90

11/8

Modest form over hurdles but won 6 of 8 points, including last 4 (latest May 8). Interesting chase debutant.

Form: 2211-11

Tom O'Roughley^b,t¹⁸

Age: 7| Weight: 10-2| J: Sean Houlihan| T: Sheila Lewis| OR: 74

13/2

Only poor but he's made the frame on 5 of his last 7 starts now, proving much more straightforward back under professional handling when fourth of 14 in handicap chase (9/1) at this C&D (good to soft) 18 days ago. 5 lb out of the weights on this occasion, however.

Form: 626-444

Weight: 10-2| Age: 8

T: Ian Williams J: C J Todd

Forecasts

The Big Sting (11/8), Game Line (5/1), Etat Major Aulmes (6/1), Tom O'Roughley (13/2), Jersey (15/2), Ballymilan (9/1), Our Idic Boy (10/1), Known (14/1), Heydour (25/1)

ETAT MAJOR AULMES defied a 12-month absence to get off the mark over fences at Fontwell last month and remains unexposed in this sphere. Hat-trick seeking Ballymilan is a likely threat, while Jersey and The Big Sting are a couple of interesting chasing debutants.
