Had run of race when second of 8 in novice hurdle at Southwell (15.8f, good) on hurdles bow 22 days ago, no match for winner. May do better yet, however.

Fairly useful maiden handicapper on the Flat who has run respectably both starts in this sphere, latest when fourth of 5 in novice hurdle at Fakenham (16f) 37 days ago. Warrants respect.

Useful handicapper on Flat (stays 1¼m) winning twice in March. Below that level when third on Southwell hurdles bow (15.8f) earlier this month but is entitled to progress.

Useful on the Flat and has shown a fair bit over hurdles, making the frame again when third at Huntingdon (15.8f) last month. Should give another good account.

Fair performer on the Flat for Mark Johnston, winner of Bath handicap in September. Sold for £22,000 and showed first form over timber when fifth at Uttoxeter (15.8f) earlier this month. Further improvement needed to take a hand here, though.

Returning from very long absence when well-beaten fifth of 8 in novice hurdle at Market Rasen in April. Best watched.

Fair winner on level for Richard Hughes. Makes jumps debut for new yard and is worth a check in the market. Tongue strap on for first time.
