Calva D'Auge⁵⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 11-0| J: Harry Cobden| T: P F Nicholls| OR: 139| BF

4/6

Useful front-running hurdler with a good strike rate but was quite easily brushed aside in a match on chase debut at Kempton (20f) 8 weeks ago. May do better though and does have proven stamina for this trip.

Form: 81/180-2

Carys' Commodity^p³⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 11-0| J: Jonjo O'Neill Jr.| T: J & A O'Neill| OR: 134

6/5

Useful hurdler. Looked the winner when falling last on chase debut/return here (19.5f) in October and ran well back over fences at Uttoxeter 4 weeks ago. Just shades the verdict.

Form: 4/F820-2

Forecasts

Calva D'Auge (4/6), Carys' Commodity (6/5)

CARYS' COMMODITY has shown plenty in 2 runs over fences and just shades the verdict over Calva d'Auge, for all that one has the superior hurdles form.
