Has found some improvement this spring, off the mark from his lowly mark in a C&D event in May. Creditable third from his inflated mark back here since and claims of hitting the frame again despite conceding weight all round.
From a yard in form but he's yet to achieve much in handful of hurdle starts and he's hard to fancy here. Tongue tie refitted.
Fair on Flat (stays 1½m) for Kevin Ryan. Yet to show anything over hurdles for new yard and similar story back on the Flat at Nottingham (8.3f) 2 weeks ago.
Modest on Flat for John Flint, (stays 8.5f) and he offered little having his first start over hurdles for his new yard at Worcester (2m) 3 weeks ago. Cheekpieces go back on down in grade.
Sole success came in a C&D handicap chase back in December 2020. Mixed bag in that sphere last season but shaped as if he'd come on for his run for 10 weeks over hurdles at Worcester (2m) 2 weeks ago. Ought to prove tough to beat.
Cartmel chase winner for Dianne Sayer in July 2019 but hasn't threatened too often since, well beaten ninth of 14 in a Uttoxeter handicap (20f) earlier this month. Passed over.
No impact over hurdles for Venetia WIlliams during 2017/18 but he did show first form when second in a Worcester handicap (2m) back in spring 2019 (only start for Tom Lacey). Absent/switched yards since but tough to assess.
Runner-up in a bumper before making a winning Flat debut in 2020. Didn't kick on from that thereafter though and he was well held on belated return/hurdles debut in a C&D maiden earlier this month. Quickly dropped in class.
Ex-pointer who displayed some ability first 2 hurdles starts during the winter. Unseated rider switched to a hunter for new yard in April and now back over timber. Hood goes on.
Respectable efforts over hurdles first 4 starts for new stable and whilst he ran below that level in a C&D handicap on the back of 9 weeks off latest, he still makes appeal for each-way purposes in this line up.
6-y-o mare who ran one of her better races (visored) back from 7 months off when second in 5-runner Uttoxeter seller (15.7f) 12 days ago. Claims of hitting the frame.
Well out of sorts on the level of late and she made an inauspicious start to her hurdles career when jinking right and unseating early on in a Uttoxeter seller (15.7f) 12 days ago. Can only be watched.

Forecasts
Glajou (4/9), Overtougeorge (8/1), Paudie (8/1), Makthecat (10/1), Silkstone (18/1), Lake Washington (20/1), Dee Lane (22/1), Gertcha (28/1), Lady P (40/1), Gleneaglet (50/1), George Mallory (80/1), Jeu De Mots (80/1)
Hard to see past GLAJOU who wasn't disgraced back from a short break when fourth over hurdles at Worcester 2 weeks ago and he could hardly have been found a better opportunity to get back to winning ways. Silkstone, Paudie and Lady P can do battle for minor honours, whilst Lake Washington needs monitoring in the betting on belated return.
