Smashing campaigner who added to his tally on the Flat last summer and, with his yard in good order, he returned to form when third over fences at Ballinrobe (23f) last month, losing second run-in. Claims with drop in trip no problem.
C&D winner who added to his chase tally at Newton Abbot (21f) in April and arguably should have scored again when edged out late in the day back over this C&D in May. Clearly in good heart but this is tougher.
7-y-o who has scored twice over hurdles and twice went close to opening his account in this sphere during 2021/22 campaign. Best rcent effort when close second of 5 in novice chase at this course (25.5f, good to soft) 2 days ago, but this is tougher.
Winning pointer who landed each of his 4 starts over fences here last year and found further progress to rattle off the 5-timer on return over extended 25f here in May. 2 lb higher mark shouldn't prevent another bold bid dropping back in trip.
Won 3 times last season and deserving of having his narrow C&D victory over Seddon in May marked up, given he was badly hampered. Turned in a lacklustre display at Market Rasen (21.4f) since but return to this venue may help.
Dual chase winner at Ayr and Doncaster in late 2021. Seemingly went off the boil during the spring but step firmly back in the right direction when runner-up over 17f here 4 weeks ago. Possibilities back up in trip from 1 lb higher mark.
5-time chase winner around here (all gained at 17f) who was just touched off from a 7 lb higher mark in this race 12 months ago. Not at best more recently including here but arrives with yard amongst the winners and bounce back distinctly possible.
Course winner who resumed winning ways at Perth (20f) in May (all out to hold on). Step back up in weights may have caught him out back here next time and whilst he ran with credit over hurdles latest, he may just find a couple too good in this field.

Forecasts
Western Run (9/4), Dressedforsuccess (10/3), Dr Sanderson (9/2), Fancy Foundations (7/1), Tonto's Spirit (8/1), Fire Away (11/1), Seddon (11/1), Peregrine Run (12/1), Railway Hurricane (12/1), Sword Of Fate (18/1)
A good quality handicap with a chance taken on course-specialist TONTO'S SPIRIT scaling a revival. He needs to shrug off a couple of lesser displays (including here) of late but he's fallen in the weights and, having just failed to land this contest from a 7 lb higher mark 12 months ago, a bold showing can be anticipated. Dressedforsuccess has quickly built up a smashing course record himself and is feared, along with Dr Sanderson and highly-admirable Peregrine Run.
