Useful hurdler/chaser, winning 3 times over fences in the first half of last season. Below best returning from 6 months off over hurdles at Sandown (19.8f) in April but built on that when third at Warwick.
Denied a 4-timer by the stewards over C&D last month and seems sure to go well once more.
Completed a four-timer in 2021 (3 of those wins over C&D) and not disgraced both starts in recent months after 6 months off. Has an excellent record here so high on the shortlist with headgear re-fitted.
Dual hurdles winner for Suzi Best and failed by a whisker on third start for this yard at Plumpton in April. Not disgraced in the Swinton at Haydock (15.6f, good to soft) and took advantage of drop in class at Market Rasen latest. Change of headgear.
Fared a bit better when tried in a claimer on last hurdles run but just respectable efforts at best on the Flat since. This looks too competitive.
Scored at Doncaster in November and decent efforts in defeat since, third of 6 in handicap hurdle at Kelso (16.2f, good to firm, 4/1) 28 days ago, running on. Not taken lightly.
Good strike rate over hurdles and made it 3 wins from last 3 starts at Aintree 16 days ago, proving typically determined in the finish. Must be respected.
Took very well to hurdling in summer 2020, winning 4 times and second in listed juvenile event at Wetherby in October. Encouraging return on the level after a long time off in April but not so good both starts since, including back hurdling.
Did well last season, winning 3 times. Sold from Toby Lawes for £23,000 in May and better than ever when making winning start for this yard over C&D 25 days ago, looking suited by this sharp track. Another to consider.
Proved better than ever as she picked up a second career success with the help of the stewards (Finest View demoted). Going the right way so player.
Bagged handicaps at Musselburgh and Sedgefield in the spring before going in readily on the Flat at Carlisle. Good second back over hurdles latest another bold showing is very much on the cards.
Useful winner at 7f on Flat. Lightly-raced winner over hurdles, best effort yet when third of 7 in juvenile hurdle at Limerick (2m). Well held on the Flat both starts for this yard.
Useful performer on the Flat and made a successful start in handicap hurdles for new yard (first-time tongue tie) at Ayr (2m, good to soft) in April. Let down by jumping when second at Perth since but remains with potential in this sphere (not disgraced at Royal Ascot 12 days ago).

Forecasts
Platinumcard (9/4), Alqamar (4/1), Finest View (11/2), Broomfield Burg (6/1), Bashful Boy (8/1), Island Mahee (9/1), Hurricane Ali (11/1), Ingleby Hollow (11/1), Vocal Duke (16/1), The Navigator (20/1), Beyond The Clouds (40/1), Iberia (40/1), Hiconic (50/1), Snookered (80/1)
This looks very competitive with a host of last-time-winners but ALQAMAR remains on a workable mark and his strong course form earns him the vote. Broomfield Burg will appreciate this drop in class and has a race like this in him, while Platinumcard remains with potential in this sphere on Flat form.
